CEO: BP expects crude price at $55-60 per barrel in 2018

DAVOS, Jan 23 (PRIME) -- British BP sees the current oil price of around U.S. $69 per barrel as too high and expects the price the reach a $55-60 range in 2018, BP CEO Bob Dudley said on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Tuesday.

Dudley also said that BP has held no talks with Russian oil major Rosneft on cooperation in Iraqi Kurdistan’s Kirkuk, but joint work is possible in the future.

“Rosneft is a great partner for us, but we have not discussed the issue directly… I know they work in Kurdistan. Some day and with the right conditions we may have excellent cooperation there. I think it is surely possible,” he said.
